After a successful season racing Honda Happiness in 2006, Rose Lores took the bold step of moving to a smaller house to raise the money to buy the boat for herself, and in 2007 entered the series under the name Locamotion. In 2008 fuel sponsorship was obtained from bp which resulted in a colour change for Locamotion from the old half yellow and half lilac to a lovely lime green (the bp Ultimate brand colour). Various mechanical problems kept Locamotion out of the top 3 for 2007 and 2008, but now with a new engine, new livery , new sponsor and new navigator, it should be all go. The boat is now bright orange and sponsored by Eclipse Marketing Ltd – so watch out for Eclipse this year – we intend to Eclipse all the others!!
