The team formed in late 2006 after watching the Honda racing at Cowes in August, originally with James Dalziel. James left end of season due to work commitments and a new partnership was formed with David Sexton who was a former work colleague with similar mentality and call to the water.
Team Purple finished 16th in 2007 after a number of retirements and being unable to attend to the last race at the season due to the birth of my beautiful daughter Grace.

They finished 6th in 2008, after running 3rd for most of the season. Overcoming David breaking his arm badly in Torquay with Mandy Cowley stepping in for the next 2 rounds as Navigator. David returned at Liverpool and Isle of Man after acting as Team Manager in his recovery time highly frustrated watching Mandy race in the boat while he nursed his arm in a cast.
