Team Notorious, with driver Andy Gardiner and co-driver Steve Trevail are one of the four new teams who will make their debuts in the 150hp and 225hp classes of the Honda Formula 4-Stroke (F4SA) power boat racing series.

The 2008 series starts in Torquay on the 24th and 25th May. With over 40 boats likely to be on the start line and some new competitors to raise the stakes the racing is bound to give the crowds some of the best action racing to hit the UK yet.

F4SA Event Organiser Brian Wheeler said “The Brass Monkey Powerboat Race has always been a great warm up for the competitors of the Honda series. What better way to get the engines revved up for the coming season and encourage the teams to get ready for the racing ahead”.

“The Brass Monkey was our first ever race and an opportunity to experience the full feeling of racing alongside other competitors. This was a great opportunity for us to gain some valuable experience before the Honda series starts in May”, said Andy Gardener, driver of the 225hp “Notorious”.
