Luxury Swiss watch maker, Ebel will continue as the Official Timing Partner to the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Association for the forthcoming 2008 series.

Ebel will be involved in all timing related elements of the Series, providing the official race times for both the 150hp and 225hp categories.

As in 2007, the season will culminate in Ebel awarding the first, second and third place winners in each category an Ebel watch at the official awards dinner to mark the end of the season. The driver and navigator from the winning team of each category will each receive a new Ebel 1911 Discovery Chronograph sports watch – the ultimate sports watch for men.

Ebel are also delighted to continue with their sponsorship of Team Ebel in the 150hp category, who last year finished a respectable 6th position overall in 2007. The team will again be racing in an Ebel 1911 Discovery-branded boat and will wear official Ebel-branded uniforms.

The new Series, which sees racing commence on the 24th of May in Torquay, is the largest offshore powerboat Championship in the world, with 40 teams competing across two categories over one weekend a month from May through to the finals in September.
