Winning race boats from the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series featured in the 'Steve Curtis Powerboat Village' at Earls Court in 2007, with the stand attracting crowds of powerboat enthusiasts, press and public.
Last year the Earls Court Boat Show was launched as a new London event to provide entertainment, education and fun for all the family. This year, show organisers are focussing on building upon their success in 2007 to deliver another memorable event.
James Brooke, Managing Director of the Earls Court Boat Show said, "Last year the 'Steve Curtis Powerboat Village’ proved to be a favourite attraction with visitors. There was a fascinating mix of classic and modern race boats, with plenty of characters from the sport creating a festival atmosphere. This year we'll be creating a unique display of race boats for the five day event in November. I'm also looking forward to racing in the Honda Formula 4-Stroke series again this year, after our 2007 debut."
Steve is currently racing in the Class 1 World Championship with new team mate, Sheikh Hassan in Qatar 96. Hassan bought Steve’s old team ‘Spirit of Norway’ which included the services of the eight times Class 1 World Champion. Steve now has his full attention focussed on winning back the World title with his new team who now race under the Qatar Racing team colours, and achieved second in the first round.
Steve said, "The 2008 Earls Court Boat Show will be showcasing even more new and exciting international products between 26th and 30th November”.
